OEM-köpguide
En omfattande guide för inköp av uppblåsbara vattenfarkoster från asiatiska tillverkare: fabriksbedömning, kvalitetskontroll, efterlevnads provning, förhandling av minimi beställningsvolym och logistik.
1. Pre-Qualification: What to Look for in a Textile Factory
Compliance Certificates
- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality management system
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 – Harmful substance testing
- BSCI / SMETA / SEDEX – Social compliance audits
- REACH / RoHS – Material compliance declarations
Manufacturing Capabilities
- Yarn sourcing and quality verification in-house vs. outsourced
- Weaving, knitting, and coating production lines
- Dyeing and finishing equipment
- In-house sample development
- Testing lab (tensile, color fastness, dimensional stability, abrasion)
Experience Verification
- Years in textile manufacturing (10+ years minimum recommended)
- Number of textile engineers on staff
- Existing OEM/ODM clients (request references)
- Export destinations – are they already shipping to your target market?
2. Quality Control Protocols
Material incoming QC: tensile strength (ASTM D5034 or ISO 13934), tear resistance (ASTM D2261 or ISO 13937), color fastness (ISO 105), GSM verification, shade band approval.
In-process QC: weave/knit integrity monitoring every 100 meters, dye lot consistency checks, dimensional stability testing, inspection against approved standards.
Final inspection: 100% visual inspection, AQL 2.5 or 4.0 per ISO 2859, random sample testing for performance properties, packaging and labeling verification.
3. Compliance Documentation Checklist
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certificate
- ISO 9001 quality management certificate
- Test report from accredited lab (batch-specific)
- Material safety data sheets (MSDS)
- REACH compliance declaration
- Bill of Materials with supplier traceability
- Factory inspection report
4. MOQ Negotiation
| Product Type | Standard MOQ | Negotiable Range |
|---|---|---|
| Standard performance fabrics | 500 – 1000 meters per color | 100 – 300 meters (trial) |
| Custom development fabrics | 1000 – 3000 meters | 500 meters (trial) |
| Commission dyeing/finishing | 2000 – 5000 meters | 1000 meters (trial) |
5. Logistics and Shipping
Common Incoterms: FOB (Factory delivers to departure port – most common), EXW (Buyer arranges all shipping from factory door), CIF (Factory pays freight and insurance to destination port).
Textile products are shipped as rolled goods on pallets or in containers. Sea freight from China to EU: 25–35 days; to US West Coast: 15–20 days. Air freight available for rush orders.
6. Common Pitfalls
- No factory audit: Always perform or commission a third-party audit (QIMA, SGS, Bureau Veritas)
- Verbal specs only: Detailed technical specification sheet signed by both parties
- Skipping sample approval: Written sign-off on samples before bulk production
- No QC during production: Third-party inspection during production (DUPRO) and before shipment (PSI)
- Ignoring compliance: Verify OEKO-TEX/REACH certification before production
