Weaving

Fabric Care & Maintenance

1.Machine wash performance fabrics in cold water (30°C) with mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners which degrade DWR and antimicrobial finishes.
2.Tumble dry on low heat or line dry. High heat damages elastic fibers and PU coatings. Remove promptly to reduce wrinkles.
3.Re-activate DWR finishes with low-heat ironing or 10-minute tumble drying. Reapply DWR spray after 5-10 washes depending on usage intensity.
4.Store clean, dry fabric rolls in climate-controlled environments (18-25°C, 40-60% RH) away from direct sunlight to prevent UV degradation and color fading.
5.For industrial and protective fabric, follow manufacturer-specific care instructions. FR treatments may require specialized laundering to maintain flame-retardant properties.
6.Replace fabrics showing signs of UV degradation (fading, chalking), coating delamination, or significant abrasion wear. Typical performance fabric lifespan: 3-8 years depending on use and care.
